My heart touched my eyes today.
The feeling of imperfection.
Of filling up with hope .
And then slowly deflating.
But it’s all just a dream.
My heart touched my mouth today.
The feeling was of love.
I guess I never knew that feeling .
Because it all felt so real.
But where does reality go?
When you realize it was.
Just a dream.
My heart touched my hand today.
The feeling of fire.
The fire that simply twists into smoke.
And is never to be seen again.
And then once again I had to realize.
It was all just a dream.
My heart saw its reflection today.
And realized it had to stop.
It realized that it was going to live.
And was not going to give up.
But the pain that my heart felt today.
Almost impossible to bear.
Will not live on forever.
It will not fade in a silence of despair.
And today my heart has realized .
Those good dreams were not reality.
Today I realized it was only.
Just a dream.
